Abstract:
We explain a case study of probabilistic approach to homological aspects of topological quantum field theory via the example of topological quantum mechanics. Topological correlations are obtained in terms of large variance limit. An investigation on the relation between probabilistic topological correlations on the circle and Hochschild homology is illustrated. This leads to a natural BV quantization for factorization algebra and algebraic index theorem.
About the Speaker:
李思,现任清华大学数学中心教授, 从事量子物理/弦理论与几何拓扑的基础交叉领域研究。2003年和2006年获中国科学技术大学本科与硕士学位,2011年获哈佛大学数学系博士学位;其后曾任美国西北大学博士后、波士顿大学助理教授、普林斯顿IAS访问学者、日本东京大学Kavli IPMU客座高级研究员;2014年入职清华大学。因构建拓扑弦场论的量子化理论和解决“Landau-Ginzburg镜像对称猜想”等工作获晨兴数学奖金奖。
