Abstract:
Interfaces in the 3-state Potts model are bipartite cubic graphs with vertices where all three colours meet. Algebraically they can be treated as a special point of a continuous family of models, which are called spider webs, first studied by Kuperberg and collaborators in the context of $U_q(sl_3)$ invariants. We discuss ongoing work on the these models, whose main objective is to precisely identify the conformally invariant continuum limit.
